WHAT ARE HYDROSOLS?
Hydrosols are a Mystical Cellular Water, An Angel’s Kiss, A Divine Myst, a therapeutic plant derived vibrant water.
They are simply a water “hydro” solution “sol”. They are also known as:
Flower Waters, Plant Waters, Spirit Waters, Sun Waters, Water Medicine or even Toners, though I don’t think it serves them the amount of respect they deserve to solely refer to them this way. Water loves to bond & the result is these water loving molecules carry the plant’s medicine in it. They hold the plant's phytochemical properties, the textured & tangible scent, & the intrinsic spark of their being. They are more than mere toners for the skin, they are a language for the more subtle senses.
These aromatic waters call for you to remember the wild. Our distillation process:
Technically hydrosols are colloidal suspensions of essential oils and water soluble components obtained by steam distillation or hydrodistillation. Hydrosols are not simply e.o.’s added to water. It is a complete process of condensation & alchemy. Lifting into the aether and coming back down together as one new reformed being. There is a science and a magic mystery to it. Sometimes hydrosols are the byproduct of the essential oil process, however we do not separate the essential oils from the waters in their final form. Distillation is a process of Alchemy in which the animating life force of a plant is transferred into water. This includes, water loving components, nutrients, elements, vibrational essence and spirit. The water is enhanced with the active energy of the plant and the core of the heart of the alchemist. We use a curvy copper alembic pot to change the life force of a plant into liquid form. The steam percolates through the plant material in the curvy pot that contains micro drops of essential oils as well as the water soluble plant components from the distilled plant. Without these curves of the alembic the water would lose it’s life. The feminine curve of water is life.
